leslie Butler, DDS, MSD

Dr. Butler discovered her love for dentistry the summer before she was going to apply to med school. While working for a family friend at his dental office, she realized how rewarding and engaging dentistry could be. At the end of the summer, she took the dental entrance exam instead of applying to med school and never looked back.

Dr. Butler attended Loma Linda University where she earned her DDS, MSD, and her Pediatric Certification. She feels honored to provide compassionate, upbeat dental care to children of all ages in Villa Park, and she would love to meet you and your little ones! Gloria Hur, DDS

Dr. Hur earned her dental degree from Columbia University in 2012, and went on to complete her postdoctoral pediatric dentistry training from Yale-New Haven Hospital in June 2014. She is an active member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Maryam Meschi

Dr. Maryam Meschi has spent most of her life living in Southern California. She has always had a passion for children and she always knew she would have a career working with kids. She goes above and beyond to make sure her patients have a great experience at the dentist and leave feeling happy.
Dr. Meschi attended the University of California, San Diego for her undergraduate degree. While at UCSD, she was an active member of the San Diego Pre-Dental Society and Student-Run Free Clinic Project where she would provide free dental care to those in need. Dr. Meschi continued her education and graduated from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health with her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. She also completed courses at A.T. Still University School of Health Management to achieve a certificate in Public Health Dental Emphasis.

Dr. Meschi then completed her pediatric dentistry specialty training at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry. Baylor is a dual university and hospital-based training program with a strong emphasis on children with special needs and those who are medically compromised. Dr. Meschi is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), California Society of Pediatric Dentistry (CSPD), American Dental Association (ADA), and California Dental Association (CDA).

In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, trying out new restaurants, skiing, scuba diving, and traveling. She also loves to spend time with her Pomeranian, Cody.


Dr. Jackie Nelson

Dr. Jackie Nelson grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and earned her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University. Dr. Nelson obtained her DDS and graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry with honors and went on to complete her pediatric speciality training at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. When she’s not providing dental care, Dr.  Nelson is spending time with her husband, new baby boy, and golden retriever. In her free time she enjoys yoga, skiing, and trips to Disneyland. Dr. Jackie Nelson is very excited to join the team and help children create healthy smiles!


Dr. Barry Krall

Dr. Krall is a Board Certified Dentist Anesthesiologist who has dedicated his practice to the delivery of anesthesia and sedation services to the dental profession only. Because of his dental background and his focus on providing services only for dentists, he understands the dental procedure and can anticipate the needs for each procedure and patient.

Dr. Krall is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. After graduation, he practiced general dentistry for 12 years before returning to train in Dental Anesthesiology at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and affiliated hospitals.

Dr. Krall is currently a member of numerous organizations, including being a diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiologists, International Anesthesia Research Society, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Tri-County Dental Association.

Dr. Krall has been married to his wonderful wife Lisa for 17 years. They have 13 year old twins, Daniel and Bailey.  His family enjoys cycling and completed their first century (100 miles) as a family on Mother’s day of 2013. They also enjoy other outdoor activities such as hiking and running.


Dr. Kathryn Le

Dr. Kathryn Le is a graduate of the Dental Anesthesiology Program at Loma Linda University, a two-year post-doctoral residency. Her extensive training at the Veterans Affairs Loma Linda Health Care System, Riverside County Regional Medical Center, and Loma Linda Medical Center provided her with invaluable experience in cardiology, internal medicine, and medical anesthesiology. This training allowed her to successfully manage a large variety of complex medical and surgical cases. In addition to her hospital-based experience, she also has considerable experience in providing outpatient ambulatory anesthesia. At Loma Linda University's Special Care Dentistry Center, a clinic treating approximately 5,000 patients annually, Dr. Le provided general anesthesia for a variety of special needs adult and pediatric patients. Examples include patients with autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Down's Syndrome, and pre-cooperative young children.

Dr. Le is a member of the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, the International Anesthesia Research Society, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Orange County Dental Society. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Prior to her training in anesthesiology, she received her bachelor's in Neurobiology and Behavior from the University of California, Irvine in 2002. During her stay at UCI, she conducted research under the National Institutes of Health. In 2006, she received her doctorate in dental surgery from the University of California, Los Angeles. She was twice awarded the Regents Scholarship, the highest level of recognition within a UC, at both UCI and UCLA. From 2006-2007, she completed a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System.

In her free time, Dr. Le enjoys playing guitar, recording music, watching HGTV, and practicing wing chun kung fu. Her favorite activity of all, however, is spending time playing, teaching, and relaxing with her son. Dr. Le loves children and is committed to providing the highest level of comfortable and safe anesthesia for all mouths, big or small.

I’ve been working in Pediatric dentistry for 8 years. At a young age I knew I wanted to work in dentistry. After raising my boys I went back to school in 2012 and completed the RDA program at OCC. I enjoy working with children and helping them keep healthy smiles. In my spare time I enjoy bbq’s with the family, shopping, sports, watching my boys play baseball and date nights.

Michelle began her career in dentistry right after high school and did her internship in a pediatric office. She always knew she wanted to work with kids as she has two younger brothers who are very important in her life and being the oldest definitely influenced her passion for understanding children. She is currently attending Fullerton College working towards her career as an SLP. In her free time she enjoys exercising, going on runs, and practicing yoga. She also loves spending time at the beach or watching movies.

Kathy loves educating children and empowering them to keep their teeth healthy and bright. Kathy has an extensive background working with Medical Professionals. When she’s not in the office caring for your children’s teeth, Kathy enjoys going on hikes, camping, and shopping.

Maria Alonso

Registered Dental Assistant

Maria is one of our amazing RDA’s. She has been with our office since 2014. Maria started her studies while attending high school, and completed her schooling and RDA certification after she graduated. She really enjoys working with the children every day and interacting with their parents as well. Maria grew up in Anaheim and graduated from Anaheim High School. She is currently attending Cypress College working towards obtaining her Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. During her free time she enjoys going to Disneyland with her 2 year old son, Adam. Maria also enjoys spending time with her family, shopping for clothes, watching NFL football, and going to the movies. Go Patriots!!!

Karen Norman

Financial Coordinator

As Financial Coordinator, Karen is responsible for keeping the day-to-day organizational and financial aspects of the practice in order.  She is here for all of our patient families, with regards to any questions they may have about their accounts.  Karen has more than 20 years of experience in both medical and dental specialties, but it wasn’t until 4 years ago, when she began working with Dr. Butler that she found her favorite specialty – Pediatric Dentistry.  Karen looks forward to working with your children and the entire family to make your visit a comfortable experience.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three kids, her friends, reading, hiking, trips to the beach and trips to Disneyland.
